Agawam, MA

Agawam is a city located in Hampden County in western Massachusetts, United States. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Connecticut River and has a population of approximately 28,000 people as of the 2020 census. The city covers an area of 24.2 square miles (62.6 km²).

Agawam was first settled in 1635 and was officially incorporated as a town in 1855. It became a city in 1973. The city has a rich history and is known for its role in the Industrial Revolution.
